How I engineer and build my own maschines and tools.
Eventhough i wouldn´t consider myself to be an engineer, I seem to have found a big enyoment in designing, engineering and building my own maschines. Here you can see some of them:
Stationary belt sander:
This sander is great for sanding sharp inside edges, as well as for sanding metal parts.
The main frame is made from some pretty thick metal parts, the enclosure and the wheels I made from wood.

Homemade spindle sander:
It’s great for sanding inside curves.
The sander is just made out of wood and some metal parts, as you can see here.

Here you can see it working!
Homemade disk sander:
It is a really easy to build sander, as it is just a wooden disk with sandpaper attached to the motor and a cover build around it.

I also wired it up, so that my dust collector automatically turns on, when I use the sander, that is the second noise you can hear in the video.
My new-old drill press:
I bought that drill pres for a great price, just 30 euros used, instead from other sellers for around 300–450 euros.
Although I had to convert it to 230 volts, it still has enough power and works great.

I upgraded this maschine a lot, you can see more about these upgrades here.
My new-old bench grinder:
I bought this bench grinder used on eBay for 20 euros, and it works very well, especially considering how bad of quality a new machine in this price range would be.
After you turn it off, it, unfortunately, runs out for a pretty long time, but that's okay considering the price, and I also didn’t want to spend 200 euros on a VFD drive to solve that problem.
